Gundam: Complete Record Books

In 1979 Sunrise released a series of hardcover books covering the Mobile Suit Gundam TV series.  This was one of those rare sets I was able to pick up at the Mandarake store in Nakano Broadway (JR Sobu Line). The 6 volume set titled "Mobile Suit Gundam: Complete Record" was released between 1979 and 1980.

The first five volumes contain a visual story for the 43 episodes, character and mechanical designs, staff and actor interviews, concept art, musical scores, and each included a poster folded at the back of the book. The 6th volume is a 641 page storyboard for all 43 episodes printed on a slightly lower quality paper but with the same matching cover and dust jacket design.
