Another Pachinko machine arrived today. This one is also a Sankyo/Bisty Lumina frame model, and a wonderful Matsumoto themed game. Galaxy Railways falls right in line with Matsumoto's usual visual mix of Galaxy Express 999 and Yamato - and the artwork shows it. The music and graphics are beautiful and the animated cut-scenes are stunning.

The playing field is very similar to the Dai Yamato 2, but instead of the front end of the Yamato protruding from the right side of the playfield, this one just has a 4th larger rotating turrent. I ended up with the MF-TV model (Models designate the payout percentage - each game title usualy has 3 or 4 models, where the higher odds machines pay out more, but less often). The game has a crystal clear 8" LCD screen with fully animated scenes and a "countdown" clock mode complete with a timer(visible in the bottom right corner).Below is a demo video by Sankyo for the game (Japanese):

{mgmediabot2}type=youtube|youtubeid=iObStXINh3Q{/mgmediabot2}
If you want your own authentic Pachinko game right out of a parlor in Japan, you can find them on eBay in a variety of themes from Anime, to Sports, to Animals, and Movies. Some examples include titles like Evangelion, Yamato, Thunderbirds, Looney Tunes, Jaws, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and more.
