Taiyo is releasing a new pachislo (slot machine) themed with an old 80's favorite of mine - "Kagaku ninjatai Gatchaman" (科学忍者隊ガッチャマン) , or as it was known here as "Battle of the Planets" or "G-Force" depending on which version you saw. Team members Jason, Mark, Tiny, Princess and Keyop adorn the new pachislo case and the LCD has fully animated scenes including all the Spectra baddies including Mr. purple collar himself "Zoltar". So far there have been no videos of the LCD in action or any postings to YouTube with any shots from a parlor. Some of the screencaps shown on the Taiyo website show battles with Spectra monsters and If you can't wait to buy the real thing, Banpresto has also released a PS2 version of the slot called "Pachislot King! Science Ninja Team Gatchaman". The game retails at 5,040 yen(about $50), and was released in Japan on February 22nd. To get your copy of the PS2 version, check out playasia.com. If you want to wait for a few months, you may see them pop up on eBay eventually - they take a while to circulate through the parlors.
